We started the study and the digital restoration of the fragments of decoration founded in the Cim archaeological area.
We focus the attention on the area of the altar, defying which elements must have been present in an Early Christian church of the Balkan area.
The first reconstructed object was the marble altar table. Its fragments were identified easily by the archaeologist who excavated the site as they were the only in marble.

On 12th of January, 2013, testbed members from Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo, B&H, visited archeological site of early Christian basilica at Cim, Mostar, B&H. They also met and spoke to Professor Tomislav Anđelić who was one two leaders of archaeological excavations and investigations of basilica remains in Cim taken in the period from 1966 to 1969. He provided them with valuable documentation about these archeological findings.
This Bosnian-Herzegovinian national monument is located in Crkvine, at Cim, in the north-west part of Mostar. During the archaeological excavations, parts of a basilica were found, and these parts show that the basilica consisted of a narthex, naos and presbytery formed of apses.

We propose to create and test a natural interaction interface for manipulating objects based upon a Kinect camera driving a Unity3D application that allows to explore a virtual space, select virtual objects and manipulate them. The content of the testbed consists of the reconstruction of an early Christian basilica from Cim, BH, of which some findings are shown in the Museum of Herzegovina in Mostar, BH.
