VIRTUAL ROME 2.0 [2014]

Virtual Rome is a V-MUST.NET testbed. It starts from Virtual Rome project published in 2008. It is based on OpenSceneGraph framework and it is an on line virtual museum, visible into Mozilla Firefox and Chrome through a plug-in (OSG4WEB) that needs to be downloaded. Although the plug-in is a non ideal solution, on the other side it enables to have complex behaviours and to handle really large territories and 3d models (GIS based) on line. Testing on no-plugin solutions are currently on going within V-MUST.NET project.
