Full bio:
PhD in archaeology. Graduated in Cultural Heritage at the University of Parma in 2006 and attained a second level master of research in Geo-technology for Archaeology at the University of Siena in 2007. In 2012 a PhD in Medieval Archaeology at University of Siena, Laboratory of Archaeology and Medieval Architecture (LAAUM) specializing in surveys, analysis and representation of medieval architecture and urban area using digital photogrammetry, total station, CAD applications and 3D modelling. Since 2009, I have been working as researcher at CNR –ITABC, Rome (Virtual Heritage Lab) and as lecturer at the Italian Virtual Heritage School. My work involves 3D modelling and Computer graphics, archaeological surveys with IBM and topographic techniques, virtual museum and dissemination of cultural heritage. From 2011, I have been involved in the V-Must project. V-Must is the EU FP7-funded network of excellence, that aims to provide the heritage sector with the tools and support to develop virtual museums that are educational, enjoyable, long-lasting and easy to maintain.
