This deliverable lists information about competences that are useful for the virtual museum domain and lists applications, institutions and SMEs having those competences or having developed Virtual Museum projects, applications or tools.

The goal of this list is to provide context, in-depth information and new developments concerning a range of competences, linked to virtual museums. A list of useful other resources are also added in the last chapter.

D5.4 (new) VM evaluation on portability tangible visualisation interaction techniques

This deliverable represents the first iteration of an on-going set of activities aimed at identifying the best practices of virtual museums regarding portability, usability and integration.This defines a scaffold of criteria useful for the evaluation of portability (intended as multi-fruition modes), tangible visualisation and interaction techniques of the best examples carried out under the V-MusT.NET consortium.

This final report draws on the previous publications and papers delivered over the lifespan of the V-Museum Network Project that examined the critical qualities of the Virtual Museum (VM), identified the different kinds of VMs, and evaluated their self-declared purposes and self-defined objectives.

This document presents the initial analysis and the specifications of the components of the VMUST platform, developed in the framework of Work Package 4. After previous discussions and studies made by the V-MUST partners (through House of Questions, technical meetings, output of other WPs) a first definition of the V-MUST Platform has been built. This initial design will be further specified and integrated later.

D8.7 V-MUST Integrated Portal [NEW]

This Deliverable describe V-MUST portal, called also in previous deliverables 3rd phase website. It is accessible for registered users (initially just partners than also associated members) from www.v-must.net.

V-MUST.net website (www.v-must.net) has been developed from the beginning of the project (Febr.2011). The website is the major communication medium for the project.

The aim of this deliverable is demonstrate the results of the exercises conducted to showcase the technological components within WP5. In order to validate the developed tools and services we conducted pilot studies for the use of the tools and highlight the methodologies that were introduced by v-must and its new services.
