It can also be used as a study model, and is almost never finished at the first time. That's why it is important to build all the elements as adjustable as possible.</p> <p>We start by choosing a modeling software. Procedural modelling software uses parameters to contruct the 3D. So it’s easier to adjust over time than free hand modeling software. It’s mostly used for basic shapes. If your scene contains more complex shapes, Blender , 3Ds Max,… can be a better choice.</p></div> </div> <div class="sharethis-buttons"><div class="sharethis-wrapper"><span st_url="http://www.v-must.net/vm-blog/testbed-part-1-models-and-vegetation-maps" st_title="Testbed Part 1: Models and vegetation maps" class="st_twitter"></span> <span st_url="http://www.v-must.net/vm-blog/testbed-part-1-models-and-vegetation-maps" st_title="Testbed Part 1: Models and vegetation maps" class="st_facebook"></span> <span st_url="http://www.v-must.net/vm-blog/testbed-part-1-models-and-vegetation-maps" st_title="Testbed Part 1: Models and vegetation maps" class="st_linkedin"></span> <span st_url="http://www.v-must.net/vm-blog/testbed-part-1-models-and-vegetation-maps" st_title="Testbed Part 1: Models and vegetation maps" class="st_sharethis"></span> <script type='text/javascript'>var switchTo5x = false;</script><script type='text/javascript' src='http://w.sharethis.com/button/buttons.js'></script><script type='text/javascript'>stLight.options({"publisher":"dr-19461750-b17-2759-e3ed-d2e3a5ed3317"});</script></div></div> Thu, 24 Oct 2013 15:39:54 +0000 daniel.pletinckx 698 at http://www.v-must.net Content http://www.v-must.net/vm-blog/content <div class="field field-name-field-image field-type-image field-label-hidden"> <div class="field-item even"><a href="/vm-blog/content"><img typeof="foaf:Image" src="http://www.v-must.net/sites/default/files/styles/vm_thumbnail_square/public/aerial_Ename_1.jpg?itok=_daPSW2_" width="140" height="140" /></a></div> </div> <div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"> <div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p>This testbed shows the synthesis of 70 years of extensive research on the site of Ename, Belgium.
